Last night's creation

Success! The stew turned out to be quite delicious. Sorry there isn't an accompanying picture for the meal, but it was devoured. For the mental picture, I served it with a simple green salad (also made with lettuce and tomatoes from Boston Organics) and a small glass of Shiraz.

Having the day to cool in fridge helped it thicken a bit so I recommend keeping that step even if you are modifying the recipe.  Next time I plan to make an even bigger serving so we can have it a second day.
