Almost every night I come back to my apartment in Charlestown and whip up some sort of creation. It can be anything from spicing up a spaghetti to a three course meal, but it's a creation none the less. It's a chance to make a little art with food - both to feed your hunger but also your eyes.
I have no culinary training except for working in various and assorted waitressing jobs throughout my high school career and watching my mom, step-mom and dad prepare delicious meals. And let's not forget whatever I have garnered from watching Iron Chef.
I just like mixing flavors and smells and enjoy the creative, almost therapeutic outlet cooking provides me.
We're all busy, and some nights you just won't have the time or the inclination to cook. Yet I hope by sharing my recipes and kitchen adventures with others you may also find inspiration and enjoyment in dinner to top off your day. So pour a glass of wine and let's get cooking.
